Giving Thanks - Day 20

Day twenty :
I am thankful for a great Thanksgiving sermon at church today.  In addition to the traditional, give thanks to God, message, we were reminded to treat others with love and kindness every day.  I was inspired to challenge Jake, once he's old enough to understand, to do at least one nice thing for someone every day...you know, pick up a book someone dropped, take up for someone being bullied, share his lunch, etc...  I had a vision of me driving him home from school a few years down the road asking him what his kind deed of the day had been. 
There are so many goals I have as a mother, but at the top of the list is raising a man who finds it easy to be kind and good.
