Giving Thanks - Day 1

I've seen a lot of folks on facebook and blogs listing something for which they are thankful each day of November.  In the spirit of thanksgiving and of promoting positive thinking, I am following suit.

Day one:
I am thankful, most of all, for my son, Jake.  His life has renewed mine and has brought me joy and purpose I never knew was possible.  His newness and innocence is, bar none, the most beautiful thing I've ever known.  I can't believe he's mine and that God has entrusted me with this precious soul to love, nurture, and raise.
I am saying an extra prayer today for those struggling to conceive.  I had a small taste (by comparison) of what this is like and I pray this season will bring them peace (and, God willing, a holiday bun in the oven!).
