walking with my kicks on

Jake is such a great walker!  He is able to turn and bend down and all sorts of things now!  While doing the big seasons switch, I took inventory of his shoes because most of the ones we have don't fit over the chub on the tops of his feet.  This pair of Keens from the Earnst boys are perfect and I didn't even have to beat the bottom of his feet to get them on! 
I had him practice walking in them this morning since we had a little extra time.  Before I turned on the camera, he was doing the high step, like when you put tape on the bottom of a dog's feet.  It was hilarious, but it didn't take him long to learn how to walk in his kicks.

Once again, he's in his diaper.

 

Notice how he looked to the side and waved when I said bye bye?  He was looking at the front door.  I think he associates it with bye bye. :)
