Even though Jake's baby carrier is good for up to 30lbs (he's 25 1/2lbs), it was time to go ahead and purchase a convertible car seat. We got the Britax Marathon and it's good up to 70lbs. Britax is the safest car seat on the market (you know I did my research) and came highly recommended by friends and family with children.
Plus now we can just keep the carrier in John's car and this one in mine. That way we don't have to switch anything back and forth anymore (at least for another 5 lbs).
Jake enjoyed facing forward for the first time and watching mommy sing and dance. And by enjoyed, I mean stared at me like I had 3 heads, as in picture below.
He looks so big!!
