Strawberry Pickin' and Fun on the Farm

Saturday, we met some friends at the strawberry patch to pick strawberries and headed to the farm to cook out, have homemade strawberry ice cream, and let the kids wear themselves out!

thank God for Crocs, which can be hosed off.  no harm done.

turns out a red shirt and crocs were perfect wardrobe choices for visiting a strawberry patch!

Jake was T totally F.I.L.T.H.Y. after playing so hard at the farm and so were the other boys.  His hands were completely black and the rest of him was covered in dirt and food, too.
It is one of my favorite things to see:  Red faced, worn out, dirty little kids playing their hearts out.
