Jake

Jake has grown and matured so much this year.  He is thriving in Kindergarten and is just as happy as he's always been.   I am so proud to be his mama.

Jake is what you might call an old soul.  He just thinks about things in a way that most kids don't.  He spends a lot of time thinking about how things work and why things are the way they are.  And every once in a while, he just comes out and says something that blows me away.

Last month, out of the blue, he said, "Mama, God is actually just one big, giant heart."

What could be more true?

He did great on his report card, so we let him pick a place to go eat.  He chose chic-fil-a (of course), so we drove down there on the golf cart Saturday and made a big deal out of it.  He was thrilled and we are very proud of him.
