Thanksgiving 2016

Our plans to go to Greenville to celebrate Thanksgiving, as we do each year, were sidelined when Jake woke up Wednesday morning with painful spots on his hands and in his mouth.  We knew immediately that it was Hand Foot and Mouth Disease.  Luckily, it ended up being a relatively mild case, but it's so contagious that we pretty much quarantined ourselves at home from Wednesday - Sunday.

I made a full Thanksgiving lunch for the 4 of us (Turkey, dressing, mac & cheese, squash casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, and biscuits).  We ate and then took golf cart rides around the neighborhood a few times during the afternoon.

Before lunch, we made Pilgrim and Indian attire for us and we really did have a great day!
this was Wednesday.  they tripled by Friday.

My history loving husband telling our boys about this cannon.  We stopped here on our golf cart ride.
