Halloween 2016

Halloween this year lasted 4 days.  It was a fun, candy fueled ride!

Jake was a Luke Skywalker, X-Wing Fighter Pilot and Hamp was Yoda.

Friday, both boys had Halloween festivities at their schools.  Jake got to wear his costume at school all day Friday and participate in all kinds of fun Halloween activities.  Hamp had the Spooky Walk at Incarnation and I went to that to walk with him.
Friday night, Rosewood had their annual Halloween Carnival at the school and it was a lot of fun!  Jake crashed after school and we actually had to wake him up to go to the carnival.
Saturday, his friend Coles had her 5th birthday party the kids got to wear their costumes!
Sunday, we went with friends to a trunk or treat event.
And Monday, of course, was the grand finale with Trick or Treating in the neighborhood.  Jake had a blast and then helped hand out candy when we got back to the house.  He even volunteered to give some of his personal stash away when we ran out!  We had lots of trick or treaters this year!

Phew!  It has been a crazy 4 days, but the boys had a lot of fun and, hey, at least we got our money's worth with their costumes!

The cutest Yoda ever award goes to Hamp!
After school Friday, Jake had a meltdown (because, candy) and then fell asleep on his bed when he went to his room to cool down.  Bless his heart.  He was worn out.

it is safe to say the photographers earn every penny of the money they make when photographing children.
I can't get a good one of these two together to save my life.  oh well.

 Happy Halloween!
