Jake - 14 months

• You are such a chatter box!  Now you're actually saying something (though we can't tell what) as opposed to just babbling, which you still do a lot, too.
• You say mama, dada, oooh, sing e i e i o, no, doh, and you follow simple directions like "go get your milk".  You don't consistenly say these "words", but you say them a good bit.
• You are in 24m and 2T clothes.  You can wear 18m still, but they're usually snug
• It's hard to say what your true shoe size is.  It all depends on how wide they are.  I'd say 6, but who knows.  As long as they fit over your chubby feet, you wear them even if they're a little long.
• You're in size 5 diapers during the day and size 6 night night diapers at night.
• You go to bed around 6:30, sometimes 6:15.  You are rubbing your eyes and are not happy by this point of the day and are just ready for bed.  Even though you can be a little fussy in the evenings, you are happy doing our bed time routine and are happy to go into your crib.
• You wake (happily chatting) between 7 and 7:30 and have a cup of milk.   You have breakfast around 7:30.  You nap around 8:30am for about an hour if you're home (you don't do this at Bea's).  10:30 snack, 12:30 lunch, nap after lunch for a couple of hours.  3:30 snack.  5:30/6 supper, bath, milk, book, song, crib.  
• You are showing signs of a temper.  If you aren't getting your way (i.e. when mommy walks away), you throw yourself on the ground and just go red in the face crying.  Sometimes you bite or hit when you're mad.   I'm sure this will improve (please) when you're able to communicate a little better.
• You love your bath time toys and like putting them up on the side of the tub.
• You like to stack your big blocks and clap for yourself when you do it.  (you clap for me too when I do it!)
• Your new favorite toy is a large tupperware.  You like to "hide" your head in it, put toys in it, play in the bath with it...
• Your hair has blond roots.  I'm thinking this time next year, you may be a little blondie.
• Your eyes show no sign of changing colors.  Still big and beautiful blue.
• You're so good when we take you out to eat or out in public in general.  You just love to watch people.
• You are cuddly and sweet and just the most loveable little boy I can imagine.
